While at the office one day Frank’s dad Jim tells a co-worker that his son is having a difficult time in his world geography class. He seems to loose interest very quickly. His co-worker says that his son had the same problem and his wife who is a teacher said she had the perfect solution. She brought home a talking globe and soon their son was fascinated with World Geography and his grades started to improve.
Frank had no idea that talking globes even existed and he knew this would help his son Frank with his disinterest in world Geography. Kids love gadgets and electronics and a talking globe would be just perfect.
That night Jim searched and scoured the Internet and ordered a talking globe for his son Frank. When the globe arrived Jim presented it to Frank and Frank rolled his eyes in dissatisfaction. Jim turned on the globe and when it spoke Frank turned his head towards the globe. The round electronic map started spewing facts about countries and young Frank was drawn towards it with a childlike fascination. Suddenly his interest in world geography was peaked. He was learning and he did not even know. His grades began to improve and soon he was getting straight A’s in his world geography class.
